day 3

We had good visits today, this morning we were able to go outside with the entire groupa to play.  Or what they consider playing!  They have a thing about the kids getting dirty, there are all different kinds of toys and playground equipment but at first all they were allowed to do was walk around on the pavement.  It has been raining here, so the toys were a little wet and the playground is not completely clean........ shocking!  So because of that, they are not allowed to really enjoy their time outside.  After a while one of the nannies brought out some hoola-hoops and that livened things up a bit.  Tonight we were banished to the hallway again.   We are going shopping tomorrow and hopefully we can find  a few inexpensive toys or books, ours are already getting boring!  The weather turned cold this afternoon and it is trying to snow a little, I hope some of it sticks.  Enjoy the pics, we had a little better luck today!

  1. I think Kenzie looks like Jon, she is always smiling and Sawyer looks like he is as big as she is and he is so cute. How long was the train ride? What should I bring for Christmas for the kids? Sounds like you guys are having a good time.
    Love You,
    Mom and Dad

  2. Ella says thank you for sending pictures of yourself and Jon too. She really likes the frog picture. She is really looking forward to playing with Kenzie so is Reese. Is she about the same size as Ella? The pictures you sent yesterday made her look bigger than Ella but today they look like they might be the same size. The kids both look great and they look like they enjoy spending time with you guys. Hey maybe you should try and get the kids some of those awesome nesting dolls! In case you didn't get my other message. I checked on Max yesterday...I couldn't find him but he is eating and doing his business. Also it froze here and I am pretty sure that you lost a few of your plants. Other than that everything was fine at your house.
Happy shopping and I will check on Max again tomorrow, maybe we will have a sighting.
    Love,
    Erica

  3. SO CUTE! I'm glad you got to get outside. The groupas never play on the equipment.... I think visiting families are the only ones to use it. We played on the 'new' playground all the time and it was like brand new... never used!
Any news on a court date yet? Hopefully it comes soon and you guys can get those two home!

I had to pop in on yours because we live not far from you, in SE Mesa! I look forward to following your journey to bring your two little ones home!

  8. Hi guys, love the pictures--the kids are super cute and it looks like Kenzie and Sawyer get along well together... and they seem to be really comfortable with you guys. Do you feel like parents yet? I hope that everything goes smoothly and that we will all get to meet them very soon.

Wish I could send you a rotating supply of books, I only have a few thousand around here. I can keep you stocked when you get home.

You probably aren't super far away from Cameron.

Of course, I'm writing at 1:30 a.m. when my boys are sleeping, so I'll have them send a message tomorrow. Let us know if we can help or support you in any way. Much love!
